vacation

I took 3 vacation days in a row and decided to go away for a few days - pretty good considering in the past year I'd taken a total of 3 and I'm hesitant to count one of those since I probably worked for a good 8-10 hrs that day. I spent the beginning of the weekend at home then took off for Michigan on Sunday. Here's a few things I learned on/from this vacation.
1. I need to trust my gut more. It tends to be right, especially when it comes to stuff about me. Listening to other people just gets my hopes up and really, that's no fun.
2. Effects of alcohol are greatly intensified by extra exercise and not eating. Yeah, maybe I'd been told that already but yikes, who knew how true.
3. I'm not a morning person, at least not when morning means 4am. I handle 6am much better.
4. I like waterskiing! Wake boarding could be a close second with a bit more practice.
5. I bruise entirely too easily.
6. I like playing cards.
7. It's time for bed - I just fell asleep typing...twice

Not only do you enjoy waterskiing, but you're an amazing skier to boot!
